COE Self-Care Activities Week Seven

Dear College of Education Staff and Faculty,
Great news! It's WEEK SEVEN, and we are up to 55 faculty and staff participants in self-care!
And our COE Self-care WEBSITE is now up! Soon we can post contributions about self-care from all of you. We will fill you in about how to do this in an upcoming email. Thanks again to Ian for the great job of creating this website.
Want to take a walk on Wednesday? We will be walking back to the COE at noon from the All College meeting at the Orange Grove Bistro. Come join us!
This week, why not choose to come to one of the self-care activities that works for you.

PREVIEW OF WEEK SEVEN COE SELF-CARE ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS


 MONDAY, March 16th, 12:15-12:30 in Ed 1216-Mindfulness Mondays meditation with Diane Gehart. Diane is helping us build a regular practce of mindfulness into our every day life. It really does make a difference!

TUESDAY, March 17th, 12:15-12:45 in Ed 1214/1216 -Tasty Tuesdays presentation with Ellen Bauersfeld. Ellen will be advising us about how to not do damage to ourselves this St. Patricks Day! She will also continue to discuss fun facts about supplements.

WEDNESDAY, March 18th, 12:15-12:45 in Ed 1214/1216-Workout Wednesdays with Emily, Michael, and Nico, our own "personal trainers" from Kinesiology. Come take a walk! We will be walking back to the COE at the end of the All College meeting leaving from the Orange Grove Bistro at noon. Free resistance bands once we return to the COE.

THURSDAY, March 19th, 12:15-12:45 in Ed 1214/1216-Thoughtful Thursdays Yoga with Jessica (Jess) Frank and interpreter Catherine (Cass) Kroener. This is a special class and very much a part of our College of Education culture. Come see why and support this self-care activity. We have extra yoga mats if you need one.
