10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. CSUN Showcase and Open Houses
Discover how CSUN is meeting unique needs and global challenges. Learn
from students and faculty in several mini-showcase demonstrations how
the latest technology, research, services and innovation is being applied in
today’s classroom.
The OASIS Wellness Center is a one-of-a-kind facility designed to provide
students with serenity and relaxation amid the rush and activity of campus
life and the Veterans Resource Center assists service men and women in
their transition from military service to academic success. Both locations
will be open for you to stop by and hear about the various programs and
services being offered in support of current students.
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Founders’ Luncheon and 50-Year Club Induction Ceremony
Enjoy a catered lunch, an official welcome from President Dianne F.
Harrison, an Induction Ceremony honoring the Class of 1965 and related
Faculty and Staff and plenty of time to visit with faculty, friends and
colleagues.
2:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. University and Facility Tours (choose two from the four listed below)
Campus Tour, by shuttle
Travel down memory lane and see how the campus has grown from squash
fields and orange groves into one of the nation’s largest, most beautiful
and successful universities.
Matadome and Matador Athletics
Get a behinds-the-scenes look at CSUN Athletics, including the
Matadome, the Men's Basketball Locker Room, our newly renovated Soccer
Stadium and our brand-new Sand Volleyball Courts.
Student Housing
Visit our recently expanded Student Housing facilities and hear about
our Living Learning and Themed Living communities. Tour the newly
expanded Community Center and stop by the new restaurant at
Geronimo’s Bamboo Terrace.
Student Recreation Center Tours
Visit our premier state-of-the-art student fitness facility featuring indoor
sports courts, a rock climbing wall, an indoor jogging track, an outdoor
aquatic complex and more.
