Welcome to Spring 2024!

We are proud that the Michael D. Eisner College of Education remains one of the largest Colleges of Education in the CSU system, providing to our surrounding communities hundreds of outstanding new professionals in the fields of education, counseling, administration, and Deaf Studies. The Eisner College engages in transformative education and initiatives that put into practice our commitment to social justice, equity, access, and inclusion, and supporting the social-emotional well-being of university, school, and community members. I am grateful to our talented faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, all instrumental in ensuring the excellence of our educational programs and community-serving centers. We have much to celebrate as we send forth our students to make positive contributions to our world!

Just when we thought things could not get worse as a result of the pandemic, our world turned upside down. The Michael D. Eisner College of Education is committed to practicing equity, access, inclusion, and social justice, and championing these rights for all people. The mission of the College of Education and the ethical and professional standards of all of our educational programs embrace these values as essential for the well-being of our students and the community that we serve. Virtual Celebrations & Recognitions

Though we could not hold our usual in-person graduation and completion ceremonies this semester, we look forward to celebrating with you in person in the future when possible. In the meantime, our college is still committed to celebrating everyone who completed their programs. Each department put together some kind of virtual celebration for their students, such as congratulatory videos, special messages on their websites and social media platforms, and mailed completion packets.
