FAQ

When is the art exhibit open? Gallery Hours: Monday.-Sat. 12-4pm, Thurs. 12-8pm

What if these hours don’t work for my class? If these hours don’t work for your class, please contact Jim Sweeters, Director, at jim.sweeters@csun.edu and they will be able to arrange to open the exhibit for your class. You must contact him at least 2 working days before the date of your visit, so arrangements can be made.

How much are the events? All events are FREE

Will interpreters be provided? All events will have interpreters expect for the ASL poetry workshop. This workshop is suitable for all ASL levels and Jeremy will work with folks. Please contact Christine Mitchell, Deaf Studies Lead Interpreter, at christine.mitchell@csun.edu if you would like Close-Vision or Tactile-interpreting.

Do I have to RSVP? You must RSVP for the ASL poetry workshop because each session is limited to 25 people. The Afro Cuban Dance workshop is open but the room will only hold 50 people, so do get there early!

Can I offer extra credit and how will I know if students did attend? If you are offering your class extra credit for any of the events, please email lissa.stapleton@csun.edu by October 20th and a special sign in sheet will be created for your class for that day.

If you have other questions, please contact Dr. Lissa Stapleton at lissa.stapleton@csun.edu.
