In the May Revision, the Governor proposed that the Commission on Teacher Credentialing's (CTC) 2015-16 budget include a processing fee increase from $70 to $100 (reference Education Code §44235). The Legislature has adopted and the Governor has approved the proposal as part of the 2015 Budget Act; therefore, the proposed fee increase will become effective July 1, 2015.   For detailed information you may visit the CTC website at www.ctc.ca.gov

June & July 2015 Office Hours

The University Library

The Credential Office will not be opened for evening hours for the month of June and July. We will be closing at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Normal office hours will resume in August.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday*, Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursday: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2015 Credential Reception

The University Library

The Michael D. Eisner College of Education will be hosting a celebration and reception honoring candidates who have completed credential programs in teaching, administration, school counseling, school psychology, school nursing, language, speech, and hearing services and audiology. Eligible candidates will receive an email invitation.

If you hold a Preliminary General Education (Multiple or Single Subject) teaching credential you are required to complete a Commission-approved Induction program to earn a clear teaching credential within five-years from the issuance date.
