Now is the time for gratitude for the safety and well-being of ourselves and our loved ones. Deaf Studies Trip to Cape Town, South Africa

September 23, 2019

The Deaf Studies department went to Cape Town, South Africa June 17-July 3. We spent two weeks learning South African Sign Language, visiting Deaf schools and businesses, exploring museums such as the Nelson Mandala Museum and the Slave Lodge as well as spending time with locals in Langa, a local township, and EDeaf, a Deaf vocational school.
