We are proud that the Michael D. Eisner College of Education remains one of the largest Colleges of Education in the CSU system, providing to our surrounding communities hundreds of outstanding new professionals in the fields of education, counseling, administration, and Deaf Studies. The Eisner College engages in transformative education and initiatives that put into practice our commitment to social justice, equity, access, and inclusion, and supporting the social-emotional well-being of university, school, and community members. I am grateful to our talented faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, all instrumental in ensuring the excellence of our educational programs and community-serving centers. We have reason to be proud as we prepare our students to make positive contributions to our world!

New Issues of TCARE and CTL on the Cutting Edge!

The CSUN Center for Teaching and Learning is proud to publish the newest edition of T-CARE (Teachers Connecting to Advance Retention and Empowerment). T-CARE is a peer-reviewed national newsletter designed to offer practical tips for pre- and in-service educators. This particular issue focused on AI. The Center for Teaching and Learning is also proud to present a new CTL on the Cutting Edge news brief, which focuses on  the Transdisciplinary Bridge Project. It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Amy Hanreddy (Special Education) and Dr. Alex Hollett (Elementary Education) each as recipient of the 2024 Blenda Wilson Diversity in Education Award! This year’s pool of nominees for the Blenda J. Wilson Diversity in Education Award were all outstanding, representing a wide variety of accomplishments in scholarship, teaching, and service.
