The Office of Special Education Programs (U.S. Department of Education) has recently approved a continuation award to CSUN for the project entitled, “The Bridge Project: Bringing Early Childhood Special Educators and Behavior Interventionists Together Through Interdisciplinary Evidence Based Preparation to Serve Young Children with High-Intensity Needs” in the amount of $193,552 for Year 2020-2021. Distributing supplies to parents and kids in need

On Saturday, October 17 the Family Focus Resource Center (FFRC) in collaboration with programs in the Teaching Learning & Counseling Consortium (TLCC) and the Child Development Institute (CDI) distributed PPE, diapers, Parent Notebooks, and Distance Learning Kits to families living in the San Fernando Valley. Before opening the gates of the CDI, cars lined up on adjacent streets. Once the gates opened a steady stream of over 170 cars passed through the distribution center. Read more
