Learning by Doing: Internship Opportunities at CSUN

In addition to a broad array of research opportunities across many fields of study, there are also substantial numbers of internships available to students at CSUN each semester. In the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, 378 students participated in internships in Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing during the spring 2015 semester. The College of Engineering and Computer Science offers a paid, off-campus Cooperative Educational Experience that allows students to gain professional experience in construction-management technology. Similar opportunities are available at many other CSUN colleges and departments. In all, nearly 1,500 CSUN students each year have an opportunity to work at an internship, providing them a significant advantage when entering the job market.
