Description:

SustainabilityWhile California’s drought restrictions may have been lifted, our water supplies continue dwindling.  It is in our best interest both environmentally and economically to reconsider how we landscape our homes and communities.  CSUN is doing its part on campus and you can do your part at home.

Workshop attendees will:

  • Learn the best and easiest way to prepare your existing lawn
  • Discuss irrigation systems and what your choices are
  • Discuss alternatives plant types and recommendations, the difference between Drought-Tolerant and Native Plants, and what's best for your climate
  • How to apply for rebates, if available
