Description:

The educational journey is filled with policies and procedures, and ripe for opportunities of heightened stress, misplaced paperwork, missed deadlines, and unnecessary frustration. Join the staff of Student Outreach and Recruitment for a discussion of the foundation departments must establish in order to provide stellar customer service, and the tools and resources that should be available to students and staff on the front line so as to avoid or de-escalate unfortunate interactions.

With this workshop, you will::

    • Gain an understanding of the basic philosophy and practices of good customer service,
    • Learn about different stressors our current student population (and their parents) face, and
    • Know how to prepare and equip yourself and/or your staff with the resources to make every interaction, a positive one.
