Description:

Join Praesidium on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 for an abuse presentation training addressing the protection of minors.  This presentation will provide attendees with an understanding of child sexual abuse in a university setting: how abuse and false allegations occur, best practices when interacting with minors, and how to report a range of concerns. 

    • Recommended attendees include:
    • Employees and volunteers (state-site and auxiliary) working directly with youth programs: camps, clinics, academic events, childcare, tutoring, mentoring, outreach, etc.
    • Youth program leadership
    • Individuals working with minors in laboratories, internships, and research programs
    • Key campus stakeholders from Student Affairs, Residence Life, Athletics, Recreation, Conference and Event Planning, Admissions
