Online Registries for Researchers: SciENcv and ORCID

Wednesday, November 6, 2019 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Location:
University Hall, Conference Room 277

Facilitated By:

Research and Sponsored Programs Staff

Description:

Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) is an online tool that helps researchers create a research profile that complies with the new NIH biosketch format.  SciENcv pulls information from available resources, making it easy to develop a profile that can be readily updated and modified to prepare future biosketches. ORCID iDs are unique, persistent digital identifiers that distinguish individual investigators and can be used to connect researchers with their contributions to science over time and across changes of name, location, and institutional affiliation.

These free identifiers will be required for NIH submissions beginning in January 2020, but you can beat the rush and establish your profiles today!
