In the eight years Deb Wallace has led the Financial Services team, which numbers more than 60 among five distinct units, and includes front line service to students and employees, she has worked with her managers and staff to move from a transactional target-driven environment to one where motivation, morale, ownership and purpose are key in driving performance.

Join Deb for a discussion of the differences between transactional leadership and transformational leadership styles, and some of the challenges and rewards of getting yourself and your team to make the shift. We’ll talk about the importance of your role as leader in both mind-set and behavior that contribute to the success, and how to begin the transition.
