The purpose of SAAFE Week 2017 is to raise awareness and educate the CSUN community on topics geared towards eradicating sexual assault, sexual violence, and the occurrence of rape. This panel discussion will be the highlight and largest component of SAAFE week to provide student leaders the platform to discuss current and future initiatives to prevent rape. The overall goal is to shift dormant attitudes on sexual assault in order to create outcomes of student wellness, success, and movement towards a united effort for a zero tolerance and rape-free culture. Furthermore, there is no better interest than that of helping our students to exercise their right to feel safe and maintain relationships free of sexual abuse and violence.
