This multimedia presentation will engage participants in an active experiential discussion to define intersectionality, power, and privilege. We will identify the concept of dysconsciousness: the "uncritical habit of mind (including perceptions, attitudes, assumptions, and beliefs) that justifies inequity and exploitation by accepting the existing order of things as a given;" and develop strategies to maintain accountability and our critical consciousness.
