University Ceremonies and Honors Convocation

University Ceremonies are where student candidates get their degrees conferred. 

Honors Convocation recognizes outstanding graduating students who are distinguished based on Scholastic or Personal Achievement. are where student candidates get their degrees conferred. 

The commencement ceremonies and honors convocation will take place at the Oviatt Library Lawn.

Ceremony and Departmental Receptions

Ceremony and Departmental Receptions are hosted by the University to provide parents and guests an opportunity to meet faculty and staff.

Hooding Ceremonies

Hooding Ceremonies are a special recognition ceremony for Masters and Doctoral degree candidates during which a faculty adviser, administrator, and/or a Dean of the Academic College invest a hood on a student, signifying their success in completing the graduate program.
Information regarding 2020 hooding ceremonies will be posted as it becomes available. 

Cultural Celebrations and Receptions

Cultural Celebrations aim to celebrate the diversity of our students and commemorate them on a successful academic journey. These celebrations are organized by student organizations or campus entities.
