In this presentation, we will teach attendees how to produce accessible PDF documents. We will begin by discussing how to optimize accessibility in a variety of source document formats and then convert the document to PDF to preserve accessibility features. Once in the PDF format, we will review accessibility features found in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Attendees will see a demonstration of document remediation, including adding metadata, adding and editing tags, reviewing reading and tab order and completing a final accessibility review. By the end of the session, attendees will be able to produce their own accessible PDF documents.
