Establishing a Gold Star Section 508 Program

Date & Time
Wednesday, March 16, 2022 - 9:20 AM PST
Location
Platinum 6 (LIVESTREAM)
Description
Establishing a Section 508 program from the ground up is not easy. The first question is, What is Section 508 compliance? Once you have a grasp of the law, are you committed to developing a program that you are passionate about. Second question.. where do you begin? Who are key stakeholders that can buy into your "start up" program? What even constitutes a program? Will management and customers take you seriously? Where should the program be located within the organization? How do you keep the programming running? These are all questions that a new program manager will face. This session will answer all of these questions and provide valuable information on continuing to grow Section 508 program offices.
