- Description

In this session we will provide an overview of the differences between automation and manual remediation. We’ll discuss the various factors that can help you to determine which process would be most appropriate for your content. Some document types lend themselves to automation, while others are better suited to the manual remediation process, or a hybrid of both. We’ll demonstrate a range of options, from manual remediation or transcription to a templated solution for high-volume documents. This session will also touch on the issues that organization should bear in mind as they incorporate accessible document remediation into their workflows. For example, do you have an accessibility centre of excellence or a team that is able to manage a post remediation process? The information provided in this session is applicable to Accessible PDF, as well as more traditional formats such as braille, large print and audio.
