Educational Technology: Classroom and Virtual Learning

Educational and learning technology is no longer an option for our primary and secondary school systems. They are now a requirement to ensure all students, particularly those with disabilities receive an equal opportunity for education despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic. As educators, we cannot standby and allow our students with special needs to sit by the waist side and become farther behind the learning curve. As the rest of the world focuses on getting up to speed to serve the larger population of students, very few resources and attention is being paid towards the SPED segment. This presentation aims to inform the audience on the latest educational and learning technology on the market specifically helpful for the SPED population, many of whom are learning virtually because of health-related concerns and COVID. It is time we make a major push for equal education like never before.
