Clubs and Organizations

The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics houses a number of student organizations.  Participation in these associations provides an opportunity for valuable social contact and organizational experience.  Emphasis is placed on career planning and meetings with representatives from business organizations.

Leaders in Alliance

Leaders in Alliance is a student leader council whose objective it is to enhance collaboration and communication amongst all student organizations in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, CSUN. Our mission is to assist student leaders in pursuit of organizational achievement, as defined by their respective constitution, and to improve the overall student experience for all business majors.

Accounting Association

The CSUN Accounting Association is the largest business organization on campus and is the accounting student's premiere resource for building leadership skills, improving professionalism, and networking with industry leaders through dozens of formal and informal events.

ALPFA

The Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) is a national chapter whose mission is to develop and instill professionalism in students pursuing business degrees, while also creating a diverse professional network that students can rely on for support. We welcome any person that is studying any major! CSUN ALPFA values professional growth, relationship building, inclusiveness, community service, and integrity.

American Marketing Association

The American Marketing Association chapter of California State University, Northridge is a student-led professional association. In the spirit of providing professional development regardless of a student’s background, CSUN AMA opens its doors to marketing majors as well as non-marketing majors. CSUN AMA abides by the 3 E's: Educate, Enhance, and Engage. AMA educates students about the full world of marketing, giving them a snapshot of what career opportunities in marketing will look like for their futures. They enhance students’ professional and social skills, promoting their self-confidence and building their professional credibility. Finally, CSUN AMA engages students to network with marketing professionals, helping them forge relationships that they will value in the future through workshops, guest speaker meetings, networking events, and many other programs and functions.

American Society for Quality

Our mission is to encourage and provide the means for the development of professional skills in students, enlighten them as to the nature and the incentives of entering into a profession concerned with quality, and the advancement of the theory and practice of quality.

APICS (Association for Supply Chain and Operations Management)

APICS (Association for Supply Chain and Operations Management) is the global leader and premier source of knowledge in areas of operations management such as: production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics.

Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi provides interaction and networking among students, faculty, and professionals to foster lifelong growth, service, and ethical conduct.

Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

Business Honors Association

The Business Honors Association is a catalyst for growth, founded for the sole purpose of taking high achieving students and turning them into successful business professionals. Our events and executive roles foster teamwork, achievement, community, and leadership in an environment where gifted students, with similar interests and well‐defined plans, actively prepare to lead the business world of tomorrow.

Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi fosters the study of business in universities, promotes closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and sets a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Latino Business Association

The Latino Business Association is a student organization established to provide financial assistance through their annual scholarship drive and assure academic advancement while in the university.

Management Association CSUN

MACSUN’s goal is to promote future success in students and prepare them for the transition into working life after college. Social and educational events are aimed at helping students gain knowledge to find internships, future careers, and personal development skills such as resume building and job interviewing. Guest speakers share real‐world knowledge while providing professional advice.

Management Information Systems Association

The Management Information Systems Association offers an active organization to students pursuing any major with an interest in computer applications, promote an atmosphere conducive to achievement, and promote camaraderie among management information students.

The Society is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers lifechanging lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where like‐minded success oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.

Pre-Law Association

The Pre‐Law Association is a student‐run, non‐profitable organization created to encourage and advance the studies and fields of law.

Student Finance Association

The SFA mission is to build and maintain strong relationships with students, faculty, and firms. SFA is open to all CSUN students who are interested in finance, real estate, and financial services.

The Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club at CSUN helps student entrepreneurs gain skills that will benefit them in their entrepreneurial journey. We encourage our club members to be their best selves, take on business ideas, and support them in the decision-making process of starting a venture. The club is also a chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization.
