This event features Dr. Leisy Abrego (UCLA Chicana/o and Central American Studies), Dr. Genevieve Negrón-Gonzalez (University of San Francisco School of Education), and Maria Liliana Ramirez (UCI Anthropology). They will speak on the publication of Dr. Abrego and Dr. Negrón-Gonzales’ anthology We Are Not Dreamers, which argues for an expansive articulation of immigrant rights and justice, including UndocuQueer and those excluded from the Dreamer category.
