Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
    Parking in on the CSUN campus and costs $8 for those without a CSUN permit. The closest parking lot to the University Student Union (USU) is G5. Go to www.csun.edu/maps/campus_map.pdf for a downloadable map.
  2. Who can I contact with questions?
    The Center for Teaching and Learning can be reached at or 818.677.7494.
  3. Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
    It is. We would appreciate if you would let us know in advance of the conference as soon as possible, so that we can change the name badge and registration information.
  4. What is the refund policy?
    We do not offer refunds for this event, but if you are unable to attend, please feel free to give your ticket to a colleague or friend who might benefit.
  5. Can I pay with check or credit card?
    You will be routed to CASHNet if you wish to pay with a credit or debit card. Checks are also accepted and must be made out to CSUN Center for Teaching and Learning and mailed to: 18111 Nordhoff Street, Northridge, CA 91330-8265. If you or your school is paying by check, you will select “Pay by Check Ticket.” In this case, your registration will not be considered complete until we have received and processed your check.
  6. Will cash and day-of registration be accepted on the day of the event?
    Cash and checks will NOT be accepted on the day of the event. Last-minute registration can only be done via credit card on the CASHnet site and you must be able to show proof of your registration.

Parking

California State University, Northridge requires parking permits for ALL vehicles on campus. The cost of parking is not included for all attendees in the registration cost. Sorry, no refunds for parking costs can be given. Attendees and Presenters MUST purchase a parking pass upon arrival to the CSUN campus prior to parking. Parking passes can be purchased from the Information Booths on campus.

Photographs & Video Recording

By registering for the conference, please be aware that the CTL intends to photograph, audio record, and/or audio visually record some of our sessions and other activities. The CTL may make use of such photographs and recording including creating, distributing, and transmitting copies of them, and/or promotional or advertising uses, without restriction of media. If you do not wish to be photographed, audio recorded, and/or audio visually recorded, please feel free to excuse yourself from any potential photographs and recordings during the conference.
