Road Map to Exporting
Take Your Business Ideas Global — Road Map to Exporting Returns April 2026!
Hosted by the Center for Social and Technology Entrepreneurship (C-STE) in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics.
Curious about international business and ready to take your entrepreneurial thinking to the next level? The Road Map to Exporting Program at CSUN gives students a unique opportunity to dive into the dynamic world of global trade.
Launching again in Spring 2026, this competitive, non-credit four-week workshop series is held on Saturday mornings in April in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the District Export Council of Southern California. Undergraduate and graduate students from all majors are encouraged to apply.
Led by seasoned export professionals, participants explore essential topics such as market research, export regulations, and global business strategy through real-world, team-based learning. Each team concludes the program by pitching a full export plan to a panel of experts. The top-performing team receives a Nazarian College Certificate of Excellence, and all students who complete the program earn a joint Certificate of Completion from the Department of Commerce and the District Export Council.
Whether you're launching a startup or looking to understand global market dynamics, RoadMap to Exporting will equip you with the tools and insights to expand your business vision beyond borders.
