What's Your Call to Serve? Launching a Career in Federal Government with Alumnus Josh Josa W

The Partnership for Public Service invites you to “What’s Your Call to Serve: Launching a Career in Federal Government with Alumnus Josh Josa,” a session open to all students who are curious about public service opportunities and how to make a difference in their community through federal employment.

The event will feature an overview of paid federal internships and guidance for applying to government jobs, as well as a discussion with distinguished alumnus, Josh Josa, Inclusive Education Specialist for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). As USAID’s resident expert on education for learners with disabilities, he has worked with USAID missions, ministries of education and other groups around the world to design and implement programs to deliver quality, equitable and inclusive education to all children and youth. Josa also served as a deaf education volunteer with the Peace Corps in Kenya. Come learn about rewarding pathways in federal government through the story of a CSUN alumnus. ** Interpreters will be provided.
