We're offering two sessions: 9:30 am - 12 pm and 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.  Join our paddle leadership group for a free day at Castaic Lake State Recreation Area. Our certified instructors will teach you how to kayak, canoe or stand-up paddle. If you already know how, just come out and enjoy a nice paddle around a beautiful lake or take a lesson to improve your skills. Mehrzad Boroujerdi is Professor of Political Science and O’Hanley Faculty Scholar at Syracuse University. He is currently a Fellow of the American Council on Education in residence at California State University, Northridge as well as a visiting scholar at UCLA’s Center for Near Eastern Studies. Dr. Boroujerdi’s research centers on intellectual and political history of modern Iran. Read more
