The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, CSUN Police Department K-9 Unit, CSUN Police Department, Office of Faculty Affairs, and Student Housing & Residential Life are sponsoring a Food Donation Drive for the CSUN Food Pantry.

For our 53rd Africana Studies Week Celebration, we developed the theme, Afrofuturism: Remixing Sankofa. At its core, Afrofuturism is a movement that uses the arts and futuristic elements to engage with Black history and Black culture. This fascinating integration is why our students and campus community need to be reminded of not only why we exist, but also, how we shape ourselves in this world. Thus, we called upon the West African principle of Sankofa as we remix our relationship with Afrofuturism. We look towards our past to understand how we can move forward.
