Alternative Assessments 11/16/2021 - 11:00am to 12:00pm

Recommended attendees: Instructors who are interested in going beyond the regular Canvas discussions, assignments and quizzes.

This series will cover various types of assessments you can use to assist your students in acquiring knowledge (formative assessments) and to check that they have acquired the skills and knowledge required (summative assessments). The series will go into various tools such as flashcards, video quizzes, video assignments, annotations, eportfolio, gamification, and adaptive learning. Each session in the series will cover different assessments and the tools that can enable you to easily create those assessments and grade the students’ submissions.
