The CSUN Ballroom Dance Club is both a social and competitive club. We teach all forms of Ballroom dancing which includes Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, West Coast Swing and Hustle. We are committed to being open to anyone whether you may have no dance experience or are an intermediate/advanced dancer. Our lessons are run by Alicia Richardson who is an accomplished US dance champion in American style Latin-Rhythm, International Latin, and Salsa. Aside from learning and attending social dances in LA, we compete in all levels, from Newcomer to Gold, against other schools from Southern California and Arizona. Because we understand some members have other commitments and classes, we are very flexible with our practice times. We do not require members to attend every practice but we recommend attending at least twice a week to prevent members from falling behind.

Our goal is to create a competitive baseball environment and provide an opportunity for players to play baseball at a competitive level at the same time giving players the chance to build there confidence and try to “walk-on” onto the actual team at CSUN. Every year we have about three-four players who go out to tryout and is always the one that excels at the tryouts. We believe that baseball should be fun as well as competitive. We will strive toward success as not only on the field but in the classroom as well.
