Farmers Market: Refill and Repair VI

Bring a glass bottle or jar to refill with free hand soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, or more items. Additionally, Refill & Repair is your opportunity to bring in any clothing items that need to be repaired and get looking good as new.

Join the CSUN Legal Support Clinic, a collaboration between Southwestern Law School and CSUN Associated Students, Small Claims 101. This legal empowerment webinar will present the essentials of Small Claims cases and determine if this is the right option for your legal matter. We will also provide best practices on how to file a case and present evidence in court.

Immigration Options: A Spanish Language Presentation for Mixed Status Families

Join the CSUN Legal Support Clinic, a collaboration between Southwestern Law School and CSUN Associated Students, for Immigration Options for Mixed Status Families. This Spanish-language legal empowerment webinar will present an overview of how U.S. citizen children can petition their parents for immigration status, as well as the legal challenges that may emerge. We will discuss options for waivers and how to avoid immigration fraud.

Este seminario web de empoderamiento legal en español presentará una descripción general de cómo los niños ciudadanos estadounidenses pueden solicitar a sus padres el estatus migratorio, así como los desafíos legales que pueden surgir. Discutiremos opciones para exenciones y cómo evitar el fraude migratorio.
 

Sustainable Fashion Expo

The Sustainable Fashion Expo at CSUN focuses on inspiring, empowering and supporting a change in our relationship with fashion! The aim is to expose students to small and local fashion businesses and organizations in LA and the San Fernando Valley area and showcase sustainable business practices. This event will also shine a spotlight on CSUN students who are carving a niche for themselves in the sustainable fashion space, along with showcasing students projects that promote reuse, upcycling and zero waster lifestyle.

Join us at the Farmers Market to celebrate Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month and participate in some cultural events.

 

Fallen Matador Memorial

May 8th, 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Matador Statue

This somber event is meant for Matadors to honor friends, family, and other Matadors who have passed away. Come by, grab a white rose, and participate in the Tradition of the Rose to honor those we have lost.

 

FINALS are a DRAG

May 9th, 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Northridge Center

Join us for some Drag Bingo as you de-stress about finals, get some supplies, win some awesome prizes, and enjoy some snacks.
