Eligibility Requirements

Applicants to a CSUN credential program are considered for admission as post-baccalaureate classified students.*

To be admitted to CSUN as a credential student, students must meet all of the following requirements:

* A post-baccalaureate classified student is one who has been admitted to a credential program in CSUN's Michael D. Eisner College of Education. Students interested in earning a credential should refer to the University Catalog section on Credential Programs and review the Credential Office website.

How to Apply

  1. Check application deadlines and program status (open, closed or exceptions) in the Admissions Calendar.
  2. Submit an online application to the University as a graduate student through CSU Mentor.
  3. You must also complete a Credential Application. For guidelines, visit the Credential Office website.
