Please plan to join us as the CSUN Psychology Department celebrates 50 years of developing teachers in psychology through its Teacher Intern Program (TIP). This is an opportunity to connect with several generations of TIP alumni, faculty and staff and to anticipate the next 50 years.

In honor of Dr. Roger Moss, the founder of the TIP Program.  Dr. Moss taught at CSUN for more than 40 years and supervised the TIP program from 1969 until 1987.

Keynote Speakers:

Brennis Lucero-Wagoner, Ph.D, '72

​Dr. Lucero-Wagoner earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at CSUN and her Ph.D. at UCLA. She returned to CSUN, taught primarily in neuropsychology and served as the second TIP director from 1987 to 2004.  

 

Gabriela Chavira, Ph.D. '94 

Dr. Chavira earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Chicana/o Studies at CSUN and her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at U.C. Santa Cruz. She returned to CSUN in 2004, served as the third TIP director from 2005 to 2016, and has co-directed the program with Gidget Viani since 2017.
