Former teacher-turned-Chief Transformation Officer, leadership coach and keynote speaker, Dr. Keena teaches early education, non-profit and social service leaders how to reach their fullest potential and lead with impact.

A natural-born problem-solver, Dr. Keena attributes her success to her humble beginnings as a kindergarten teacher, which she still considers her finest role yet. After 11 years in the classroom, she used her skills to develop other educators in multiple early childhood programs across the nation. A respected leader, mentor and award-winning educator, Dr. Keena has managed multi-million-dollar higher education programs with over 250 employees.

In 2019, Dr. Keena launched Momentum Leadership Group to provide online and on-site leadership development and organizational improvement solutions to the early childhood community, social services and non-profit organizations. Her clients praise her for delivering exceptional results including improved leadership performance, increased workplace effectiveness and more cohesive teams.

With a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership & Early Childhood Education, Dr. Keena uses the laser-sharp foresight and focus that guided her own career trajectory to set other emerging leaders on the path to greater impact.

From the classroom to the boardroom, Dr. Keena embraces a solutions-driven, forward-focused and people-centered approach to ensure that clients thrive – personally and professionally – in high-demand leadership roles.
