This attractive crew neck, cotton/polyester blend is once again designed by Michael Wax, son of longtime JAA Board member Robi Wax, '73. Michael also designed the shirts for the department's 50th and 60th anniversary celebrations. In addition to the still-timely motto, the really cool thing about it is it features an item of incalculable nostalgic appeal: a manual typewriter! An image of the artwork is above; we're sure you'll agree that Michael's design is worthy of a Pulitzer!
You can order your shirt -- a bargain at only $25.00, with extra-large sizes available at no extra charge -- by going to https://engage.csun.edu/JAATShirt. The shirt will be sent directly to you sometime in September and about $10 from every shirt will go to underwrite JAA scholarships. Please think back to what CSUN (or Valley State) and your journalism degree did for you, even if you never worked "in the field" -- here's your chance to give a little back, help support future J-students, and get a really cool T-shirt all at the same time.
