Pavley is a dedicated environmentalist who holds a Master’s degree in environmental planning from California State University, Northridge, but her goal wasn’t to make climate change and environmental preservation history. At least, not in the beginning. Instead, she taught middle school for 28 years before entering the political spotlight during the cityhood campaign in Agoura Hills.
