12 Colleges and Universities Strengthening K­-16 Student Success Through Community Collaborations

Researchers at California State University, Northridge, quantified the antibiotic-resistant bacteria found in foods that are bought and mostly consumed without cooking. Uncooked foods may retain antibiotic-resistant bacteria, which can be directly consumed or contaminate surfaces in the kitchen or other food, the researchers said. -- Healio
