Dr. Cartier is a scholar, artist, queer activist, writer and theologian. She holds three Master of Fine Arts degrees and received a Ph.D. in Women’s Studies in Religion, with an emphasis on theology, ethics and culture from Claremont Graduate University. She teaches at the University of California, Irvine, and at California State University, Northridge. In addition to “Baby, You Are My Religion” she has published several articles and she co-produced the documentary “The HomoFiles.” -- WeHoVille

CSUN Biology Team Announces Groundbreaking Cancer Research Method

Hundreds of millions of cancer samples, each the size of a saltine cracker, have been archived across the globe. These samples contain genetic information that can radically improve cancer patient survival – even curing difficult-to-treat tumor types. Extracting this information out of these cancer samples has been a major bottleneck to progress in oncology research — until now. --

Briana Zavala is making a life saving donation

In preparation for the surgery and recovery time, Zavala will take off a semester from college. This last academic school year, she was a freshman at Northwest University in Seattle majoring in music business and English.
