Six tips for going to college and working full-time, from a student struggling to do both

California State University, Northridge is one of the most diverse schools in the nation. But roughly half of its students don’t graduate in six years, and many never receive a degree. To remedy this problem, California State University, which consists of 23 schools and is the largest university system in the country, has launched an initiative to double its four-year graduation rate in 10 years. Penn Center Aims to Boost Hispanic Faculty Pipeline

Last Thursday, the HSI Pathways to the Professoriate program announced the first group of thirty students who will participate in the program starting this summer. Students in the first class come from California State University, Northridge; Florida International University; and the University of Texas at El Paso.
