“Math questions stood out a lot in my mind because math was one of the more difficult subjects in the competition,” said team leader Gonzalez, an 18-year-old senior headed to Cal State Northridge to study math. “Also, very interestingly worded economics and science questions that stood out a lot to me. The Art Galleries at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) serve the campus and larger Los Angeles area audiences through innovative contemporary art exhibitions and related programs. Curated by 11:11 Projects, BETTY is a large-scale, multivenue exhibition that celebrates the subcultural histories of the San Fernando Valley through the work of femme-identifying artists who both preserve and reinvent its creative lineage. Additional artifacts were exhibited at the Castaic Lake Visitors Center until its closure, after which they were transferred to the Pyramid Lake Visitors Center, another State Water Project reservoir. The majority of the artifacts’ current whereabouts remain unknown, though some reports suggest they may have been stored at California State University, Northridge or California State University, Fullerton. -- KHTS
