Dionte Bostick led CSUN in scoring with 20 points o 8-of-12 shooting while Gianni Hunt added 17 points and three assists. CSUN vs. Pepperdine Volleyball: Exciting 5-Set Battle Won by No. 10 Pepperdine, Match Recap

The No. 16 CSUN Matadors lost a five-set non-conference match to No. 10 Pepperdine (25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 17-25, 15-12). Redshirt freshman Jalen Phillips led all hitters with 16 kills, senior Griffin Walters added 15 kills, and fellow senior Kyle Hobus chipped in 13 kills. Junior setter Donovan Constable posted 39 assists and 13 digs while serving four aces. CSUN hit .256 compared to Pepperdine's .278, with the Matadors dominating the service line with eight aces to Pepperdine's one and winning the battle at the net with 12 team blocks to nine for the Waves. -- BVM Sports
