Academic advisement
- Freshmen and transfer students, you may be required to meet with an academic advisor before enrolling in first-semester classes. Learn more at undergraduate advising.
- Graduate students, you’ll be advised by your graduate program coordinator/advisor, listed in the CSUN Catalog at graduate programs.

Financial aid and scholarships
- We understand that finances are a big part of your decision to attend a university. If you have not done so, this is the time to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
