What is Meet the Firms? This career fair is the premier career event hosted by the CSUN AIS Department, EY Center for Careers, and AIS student organizations for Accounting, Information Systems and Computer Information Technology students and recent graduates to meet and network with professionals from public accounting, corporations and government.
Meet the Firms provides a unique and effective opportunity to network with Firms, learn about your profession, career opportunities, and connect with professionals. any employers use Meet the Firms as a primary source to hire students and recent graduates for part-time, internship and full-time positions. This is one of the primary means for students and recent graduates to land positions in their field!
70 Firms & Organizations attended the Fall 2023 Meet the Firms. The larger firms bring as many as 10-15 professionals and students to speak with you about their firms, career paths and available career opportunities, including internships and full-time positions - it is very important that these firms meet and get to know you for you to be considered.
Smaller firms are interested to meet with you as well to share the unique characteristics of their environment, and they often use Meet the Firms as the primary way to hire students and recent graduates. In addition, there are several organizations that participate at Meet the Firms to provide information about their programs and services.
Many of the professionals who represent their organizations are CSUN alumni, so they are coming to help you get started on your career path and achieve success as they have. Firms also bring students who have completed internships to share their experiences with you as well. These professionals and students are interested in meeting and speaking with you!
All in all, Meet the Firms is a unique and incredible opportunity for CSUN accounting, IS and CIT students and recent grads to meet with so many different organizations in one setting!
