Faculty in the disciplines of Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Management, Finance, Business Administration, Nursing, Graphic Design, Animation, and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, who are interested in developing a cost-free textbook for a required course in their major, are encouraged to apply for support through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
The grant provides a $2,500 stipend for faculty in our targeted disciplines to support them in creating a cost-free textbook in a core course required in one of the targeted majors. In addition, the grant provides $1,000 for the department of the faculty on the condition that the cost-free textbook will be utilized for the next three years.
