MIDTERM EXAMINATION I (30% of grade): 21 March (Covers Weeks 1-7)

MIDTERM EXAMINATION II (30% of grade): 17 May (Covers Weeks 8-14)

FINAL EXAMINATION (10% of grade): 23 May; 9:30-10:00 am

(This will be a take home final to be picked up in the department
office on the day before the final--no later than 4:00 p.m.-- and
handed in at the time of the final).

TERM PROJECT (30% of grade) DUE: 9 May

(May be turned in during class or turned in to the Speech
Communication Department office no later than 3:00 p.m. on this date.)

NOTE:This course will use the +/- grading option, based on standard
scores derived from the results of the four graded assignments listed
above. Although such scores normally reflects the determination of
grades under typical circumstances, the instructor reserves the right
to adjust grades both up and down based on the subjective assessment
of such factors as participation, diligence, citizenship, and any
improvement in class performance, among others.
