1. List the names and references for two sociological research articles you have found, one researching questions of a "macro" nature (e.g. a functional or conflict perspective), and the other researching questions of a "micro" nature (e.g. symbolic interaction or exchange perspectives).
2. State the main research hypothesis for each article. What are the respective independent and dependent variables for each?
3. What are the sources of data for each study?
4. What can you conclude about the relationship between the intellectual perspective of the research and the type of variables and data collected?
