Examples of a cross modality task, taken from the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT):
There are two examples. One is very easy (from the beginning of the test), and the other is rather hard (from the end of the test). For both, the task is the same: Listen to the word and then point to the corresponding picture.
