Extra Credit (optional)
Extra Credit can be obtained in the following two ways:
- 1. Reporting on interesting internet sites related to language development. The reports can be submitted as an email message. Each report must include:
- The URL (address) of the site.
- A one page explanation of how the site relates to the topic of language and language development.
- 2. Reporting on interesting journal articles. The articles need not be in professional journals. For example, domestic periodicals and newspaper articles are acceptable (if you use the Inquirer, however, it better be good!). Each report must include:
- A printout or a xerox copy of the article.
- A one page explanation of how the site relates to the topic of language and language development.
- Reports can be submitted through email using a copy and paste technique or as an attachment. The email address is:

- Grading Bases. Zero to five points will be added to your cumulative test score (after the class curve as been determined) on the bases of:
- The relevance of the article
- The complexity of the article
- The thoroughness of the report
- The writing style (i.e., spelling, grammar, vocabulary, transition and organization.)
