Examples of Receptive, Inner and Expressive Conceptual tasks in the Visual modality
 
 
Inner: To demonstrate (by raising a finger) the ability to associate a word with a sound which belongs in the same category; and.
- Expressive: To demonstrate an expressive ability by providing a verbal  description of the meaning of a sound.  
 
For the Visual modality, in the Receptive, Inner and Expressive processes, the Conceptual tasks are as follows: 
Receptive: To demonstrate (by pointing a finger) the ability to recognize a particular object (picture) when it is seen again.
