Math 501 Topology
Fall 2015

General Topology is the study of continuity.  It is perhaps the most fundamental subject in the graduate curriculum in mathematics.  It is employed in almost all other areas of mathematics and its mastery is therefore essential.  General Topology also serves as a training ground for the construction and presentation of rigorous mathematical proofs.
